WASHINGTON — Describing the event as a relaxing way to clear his mind after a few disappointing Supreme Court decisions, President Donald Trump spent a quiet Tuesday afternoon on the White House South Lawn watching two undocumented migrants fight to the death inside a steel chain-link cage.
Sources within the administration confirmed the private, single-elimination tournament featured a hand-selected bracket of Haitian TPS recipients and Somali visa holders currently awaiting deportation.
“The President was just looking to unwind and clear his head after a long morning of executive orders,” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters, noting that the event was not part of any official Department of Homeland Security policy or immigration reform initiative. “It was a beautiful day outside, the weather was perfect, and the President simply wanted to enjoy some high-stakes, maximum-effort, fight-to-the-death physical combat before his 4:00 PM briefing.”
Despite earlier rumors that the survivor might earn a green card or a temporary work visa, administration officials reiterated that the winner was immediately shackled, loaded onto an ICE transport bus, and driven toward an airfield for standard deportation.
At press time, the Department of Homeland Security confirmed that the bodies of the deceased contestants would be used as structural aggregate for the ongoing expansion of the southern border wall.
