WASHINGTON– Presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden lashed out against Barack Obama for not endorsing him after he received news that the former president recently gave him his official endorsement.
Sources say the former vice president was livid at Obama’s endorsement, questioning why Obama refused to throw his weight behind him even after serving directly under him for so many years.
An incensed Biden immediately held another virtual town hall to voice his displeasure at Obama’s disloyalty, explaining his disappointment with his former boss, friend, and steam bath associate
“How can Obama not support me after I served as his secretary of education for fifteen years?” Biden asked angrily as he rewatched Obama’s endorsement video for the tenth time. “I feel betrayed and foolish for all the times I supported Barack in his quest to replace me as his running mate.”
Even though Obama remained on the sidelines during the long Democratic primary in the hopes that anyone other than Biden would get the nomination, he stated that he begrudgingly decided to finally support Sleepy Joe because his former vice president wouldn’t remember it anyway.
“Obama choosing me as his vice president was one of the best decisions he never made,” Biden said during the town hall as his staffers looped Obama’s 12-minute video on a television inside his Delaware home.
Joe added, “I’m going to defeat Donald Trump even without Obama’s backing by surrounding myself with good people, such as dog food testers, snake milkers, and scuba divers who actually know how to run the European government and who will put the Ukrainian people’s interests above their own.”
