U.S.– In an effort to bring more jobs back to the United States, President-Elect Donald Trump has warned Santa Claus that unless he brings his manufacturing to America then there will be a 25% tariff placed on every item Father Christmas brings into the country.
Trump has vowed to stop the flow of illegal immigration and drugs into the country and also bring more jobs to the US, including the elves at the North Pole that make the millions of gifts that Santa Claus brings into the country every year.
“Santa has been ripping off our country for too long,” wrote Trump on his Truth Social account. “Santa’s Workshop hires thousands of elves to work in his manufacturing plant for their cheap labor, then parents have to pay high prices for the gifts for their children. That’s why on DAY ONE I will sign an executive order to charge the North Pole a 25% tariff on all gifts coming into the United States. This tariff will remain in effect until Santa Claus brings manufacturing to the United States. MAGA.”
Numerous people have applauded Trump’s tough stance on bringing North Pole’s manufacturing to the United States, while others have condemned the president-elect’s plan saying that there will be less gifts for Christmas, and they will cost more.
Trump also put the Easter Bunny on notice who has been accused of buying cheap eggs from China to give out to children instead of buying American made eggs.
