ST. PAUL, MINNESOTA– During a tearful press conference, Minnesota Governor and former Vice Presidential candidate Tim Walz has come forward expressing deep hurt and bewilderment after being called a “retard” by President Donald Trump, along with the thousands of people who yell the word from their vehicles as they pass his home.
Tim Walz, who spent his 2024 campaign trail labeling Republicans as “weird,” “creepy,” “fascists,” and “out of touch,” claimed he had no idea that name-calling could have such a profound impact on one’s self-esteem.
“It’s just the sheer unkindness of it,” Walz lamented during an emergency press conference held outside his home. “How can people be so mean? Do they not understand that words have power? That they can sting? When I called President Trump, Senator Vance, and their supporters ‘weird, creepy, fascist Nazis’ that was because that’s just who they are, regardless of evidence or their safety. This? This is just cruel.”
The Governor revealed that the situation escalated when Minnesotans began driving by his personal residence, yelling “retard” through bullhorns.
“I’m traumatized,” Walz sobbed. “I mean, I called half the country ‘weird’ for two years straight and suddenly I’m the one getting hurt? It doesn’t add up.”
When asked if he regretted his previous rhetoric, Walz deflected, stating, “That was different. I’m a Democrat. We don’t have to abide by the same rules as everyone else.”
