WASHINGTON– After numerous strange videos of President Joe Biden shaking hands with the air have been circulating on social media lately, the White House has been forced to clarify that the Commander-in-Chief has actually been shaking hands with the real, live invisible man.
“Contrary to rightwing talking points, President Biden is not a senile, insane, delusional, old lunatic,” said Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre while Biden wandered aimlessly around the White House with his right hand extended. “The president has full functioning cognitive abilities and all those videos of him appearing to shake hands with the air are actually him shaking hands with the invisible man.”
When pressed for more details, Jean-Pierre wouldn’t specify whether the mysterious individual was the famous invisible man or just some random man who was invisible.
As a video of Biden shaking hands with the air played behind her, Jean-Pierre said, “You see, right there. Did you see the invisible man shaking the president’s hand? If you look closely, you can see the outline of the invisible man’s hand as he reaches in to respectfully grab President Biden’s hand.”
After Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asked if the outline was merely Biden’s shadow, Jean-Pierre fired back saying the question was “ridiculous” and that “independent fact-checkers proved that the invisible man is real.”
