LONDON, ENGLAND– In a move critics called “shockingly tone-deaf,” Prime Minister Keir Starmer met with survivors of grooming gang abuse yesterday to reassure them he has no intention of implementing meaningful reforms to prevent future instances of mass sexual exploitation by predominantly Pakistani gangs.
During the meeting, PM Keir Starmer, who has faced mounting pressure for his inaction on the issue, offered words of comfort to the visibly shaken survivors by promising them he’ll continue to do absolutely nothing about it.
“I want to assure you all that we are not going to do anything to address the systemic failures that led to your abuse,” he said, trying to appear sincere. “We will continue to prioritize diversity and sensitivity training over actual justice. Don’t worry. I have heard your cries for help and I will continue to ignore them.”
When questioned about the lack of prosecutions and the failure to deport known perpetrators, Starmer deflected, stating, “We mustn’t stigmatize entire communities. Besides, what’s a few thousand raped girls when we have to protect the feelings of the broader Muslim community?”
One of the survivors later confronted the prime minister on why he chooses to protect the Pakistani rapists over British female victims, leading Starmer to immediately have the young woman arrested for racism and xenophobia.
Starmer’s office later released a statement saying, “The Prime Minister is deeply committed to not taking any concrete steps that might offend certain ethnic groups. He believes in the power of empty apologies and strongly-worded letters.”
