NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK– In a tearful segment on The View Thursday, Whoopi Goldberg unveiled her latest grievance, declaring her opulent 300-foot yacht, the Racial Inequality, a “floating monument to the systemic injustices that face black Americans.”
Whoopi Goldberg argued that the multimillion-dollar vessel, complete with a helipad, private cinema, and a caviar bar, was a symbol of personal oppression facing multi-millionaire black Americans such as herself.
“No one knows oppression and racial inequality like I do as a black woman in America,” said Whoopi Goldberg as she adjusted her designer sunglasses, her cohosts nodding in agreement. “This isn’t a yacht. It’s a gilded cage bobbing on the tears of my ancestors who were slaves.”
Despite her $60 million net worth, Whoopi says it’s worse for a black woman in the US than it is for anyone living under the Islamic regime of Iran.
“Every time I sip a martini on my yacht deck, I’m reminded of the racial disparities that keep me tethered to that $20 million plantation.”
The segment ended with Goldberg saying she was planning on calling Congress from her gold jacuzzi to demand reparations for her time having to watch her then white husband Ted Danson wear blackface.
