PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA– After numerous liquor stores in Philadelphia were looted during a mostly peaceful Democratic protest, New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez came to the defense of the shoplifters by claiming they were only stealing all that alcohol to feed their poor, starving children at home.
In a virtual town hall meeting Wednesday, AOC was questioned about last night’s violent liquor store lootings and what politicians can do to curb the dramatic rise in looting across the country.
“Those poor, downtrodden citizens are the victims of Republican oppression,” said AOC while sobbing uncontrollably. “Due to record unemployment, those respectable future scholars are merely stealing all that beer, whiskey, and vodka to feed their indigent, starving children at home.”
When one of her town hall viewers asked her how there could be record unemployment when she just said yesterday that there has been so many more jobs created under President Joe Biden, AOC cried and then called the black female questioner a racist, white supremacist Trump supporter.
“How dare you?” AOC asked the viewer using her best Greta Thunberg voice. “There’s little children as young as two years old sitting at home waiting for their mother to bring them some Hennessy Cognac to fill their empty bellies and you guys are worried about a few people getting murdered.”
The town hall interview was abruptly cut off right after one of the viewers asked AOC why she doesn’t do something or give the supposed poor, starving people some of her millions.
