CULVER CITY, CALIFORNIA– There was a brief interruption during last night’s Wheel of Fortune show when all three liberal contestants refused to answer the winning phrase, leading host Pat Sajak to call for a commercial break while producers quickly switched to a different hidden puzzle to calm down the fuming players.
The audience was pleasantly surprised as the last phrase of the night was almost revealed, drawing cheers and chants of “Let’s Go Brandon” as the three angry contestants folded their arms and ignored Sajak’s direct questions.
“The answer to the final phrase was ‘Let’s Go Brandon’,” said Sajak with a smile after all three contestants refused to answer. “Since something like this has never happened before in the history of this gameshow, we’ll have to take an extended commercial break while our producers check in with the show’s judges to find out what we have to do next.”
While members of the audience chanted “Lock them up” in reference to the stubborn yet confused contestants, hostess Vanna White readied the puzzle board with the new phrase as the three seething participants finally finished crying and smashing their podiums.
“Ok, everyone, we’re back from commercial and ready to solve the last phrase,” said Sajak after one of the contestants lit her podium on fire. “The clue for our final puzzle is: ’45th US President Who Wrote Mean Tweets’.”
Due to the Culver City, California studio being burnt to the ground, future tapings of Wheel of Fortune will be held at their new location in conservative Jacksonville, Florida.
