CLEVELAND, OHIO– The first presidential debate between President Donald Trump and Fox News host Chris Wallace has concluded and featured a chaotic exchange of words, with moderator Joe Biden having a tough time maintaining control of the two feisty political candidates.
Trump came out swinging in the first few minutes by telling his opponent Wallace “I guess I’m debating you, not him, but that’s okay.” Wallace fired back at the president by saying “I would like you to let me ask my question and then you can answer.”
Moderator Biden was at a loss of words after Wallace angrily cornered Trump about his healthcare plan, but quickly recovered with a quick rebuke of the two candidates by responding with his famous catchphrase “C’mon, man, c’mon.”
After a few more bitter exchanges, Trump hammered his political adversary Wallace about his terrible record of reporting fake news and giving him “bad press.”
The quick-thinking Biden tried restoring order to the bizarre debate by reading the final question off the teleprompter that was hidden on top of his moderator’s desk.
“The final question is…I can’t remember,” Biden said in an exasperated tone as he fidgeted with his earpiece. “Oh, I remember now. Good evening, I’m Joe Biden’s husband and I welcome you to the first of the Presidential debates between President Donald Trump and Fox News host Chris Wallace.”
