LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA– Drenched in sweat and clutching his hair, popular conservative podcaster Ben Shapiro reportedly awoke frightened in his bedroom in the middle of the night after a vivid nightmare in which he was forced to listen to his own podcasts on repeat.
The 41-year-old Jewish commentator, known for his high-pitched, nasally voice, rapid-fire speech patterns, and relentless self-promotion, was heard screaming, “Make it stop! This is torture!” as he recounted the unending loop of hearing his own voice.
According to sources close to the family, Ben Shapiro’s nightmare took a dark turn when his dream-self realized he was trapped in a never-ending loop of his own monotonous monologues, unable to escape the sound of his own annoying voice repeating phrases like “Facts don’t care about your feelings,” “My wife is a doctor,” and “Israel is our greatest ally.”
“It was one of the worst sounds I’ve ever heard,” said Shapiro later on The Ben Shapiro Show, describing the horrific nightmare. “Listening to my own whiny, high-pitched voice drone on and on was too much for me to handle. I couldn’t even listen to the sound of my own voice. I felt such a deep revulsion at myself. Stop, that’s antisemitic to say, Ben. Ben, you’re an antisemite. No, Ben, you are an antisemite for calling me an antisemite.”
The incident has sparked widespread debate about the psychological effects of prolonged exposure to Shapiro’s podcast, but Shapiro has vowed to “double down” on his content, insisting that his nightmare has “just proved that the United States is not doing enough for its greatest ally.”
