U.S.– The Libertarian Party has thrown their dirty hat into the presidential ring by officially nominating gay, far-left Chase Oliver as their nominee, saying that their ultimate goal is to prove Donald Trump wrong by trying to get even less than 3 percent of the national vote.
After Trump told a crowd of Libertarians at the Libertarian Party Convention that they will only get 3 percent of the vote if they don’t support him, the incensed political group set out to show the former president that they can in fact do even worse than that.
“In an effort to lose the presidential election once again, we’re proud to nominate Chase Oliver,” wrote the Libertarian Party in a statement. “Our message to the world is perfectly clear that we are not a serious political party. Mr. Trump thinks we will only receive three percent of the country’s total votes, but I’m certain we can do much worse than that.”
Libertarian nominee Chase Oliver thanked the party for the nomination and told everyone that he promises to make sure that the Libertarians lose the election once again.
“It is an honor and a privilege to help you guys throw away your votes again this election,” said Chase while promoting a drag queen story hour. “I’m fully confident that in this election we can definitely increase our losing streak by an even wider margin.”
Libertarian members cheered the nomination of Chase and said that they didn’t really care since most of them will just be voting for Trump anyway.
