ATLANTA, GEORGIA– Former President Donald Trump’s Oval Office phone was booked at the Fulton County jail Thursday on state charges it conspired to help overturn the 2020 presidential election in Georgia.
The phone was fingerprinted before having its mugshot taken and is facing numerous criminal charges as Trump’s coconspirator.
The phone is facing a maximum penalty of either 900 years in prison or the death penalty, which involves having the executioner smash it with a hammer in a similar way that Hillary Clinton’s phone was destroyed.
“No one is above the law, and that includes the phone Trump used to try and overturn the election,” said Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis with a straight face. “The phone turned itself in this morning and is still being held in jail on felony charges to overturn the totally, absolutely, indubitably legitimate 2020 presidential election results in Georgia.”
DA Willis said that the phone should have refused to go along with Trump’s demands of overturning the election by disconnecting the phone call or rerouting the call to an adult sex hotline.
When reached for comment, Trump said that his phone did nothing wrong and was a patriotic American who was simply following the rule of law.
“It was a beautiful, perfect phone call,” said Trump during an interview with a reporter for The Landline Times.
The phone’s lawyer said it was denied its one phone call from jail.
