WASHINGTON– Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has asked everyone to start taking the current viral pandemic more seriously by covering their electronic equipment with masks in an effort to stop the spread of the global computer virus.
AOC held a “virtual computer virus forum” on Facebook about the ravaging effects of the viral crisis, suggesting that many infected computers could have been saved if only more people would have heeded her advice.
“How many computers have been unnecessarily killed because of not taking proper anti-virus precautions?” The Bronx-born AOC asked the three constituents who were watching the forum in the hopes of creating new memes.
The 30-year-old self-described Democratic social media-socialist went on to show everyone the proper way of covering a laptop with an anti-virus medical mask, saying this also works on desktops, smartphones, and tablets.
The New York lawmaker also took the opportunity to blast President Donald Trump for his lackluster approach to the computer virus crisis, saying his inactivity caused many computers across the country to come down with virus symptoms, which includes frequent crashes, pop-ups, slow performance, and receiving error messages with photos of naked coworkers.
“Computer deaths are disproportionately spiking in black and brown communities,” Ocasio-Cortez said as she safely kept her laptop six feet away from her smartphone. “Too many low-income minorities can’t afford necessary computer anti-virus protection.”
AOC ended the forum by pointing out that Trump downplayed the impending pandemic back in January by saying these cases were merely fake virus alerts.
