WASHINGTON– Senator Bernie Sanders has recently dropped a new rap album in preparation for his road to the White House and critics and supporters alike are saying this is the greatest hip-hop album since Eminem’s The Slim Shady LP.
The album is titled Down With The 1% and executives promise that the tracks will deliver a blistering, raw look into both Bernie’s life as a downtrodden Democrat politician and his current policies that he’s running on in his campaign.
The 77 year old Democratic presidential candidate came up with the idea of putting out a rap album to help him win the presidency after brainstorming with political expert Cardi B during his one on one interview with the chart-topping rapper two weeks ago.
Sanders says that Cardi B was the one who convinced him to put out the mature rap album as a way to reach some of the younger generation who only listen to what rappers, actors, and other celebrities have to say, not old, stuffy senior citizens with mundane political jobs.
Immediately after the interview, Cardi B posted a photo on her Instagram of herself wearing red, white, and blue nipple tassel rings to show her support of Sanders.
The Vermont Senator, who now simply goes by the name Bernie, stated during his interview with Cardi B that he has always been a fan of rap music and that his mother and father used to play rap music on their record players back in the 1940’s.
“I remember when I was a child and dad would crank up the volume every time 55 Cent came on our Zenith stereo,” Sanders told Cardi B after the stagehand dropped the cue card with ’50 Cent’ written on it. “But he always told me that you were his favorite of them all, Miss Carey G.”
Bernie’s campaign manager wasn’t sure if the world would accept a frail, Jewish senior citizen using rap as a way to attract voters, but later changed his mind after seeing the success the Senator had after his one on one interviews with fellow rappers Cardi B and “Killer Mike” Render on ABC News.
During his intense interview with “Killer Mike,” the rapper made the suggestion that perhaps Bernie could combine his political campaign with his musical road tour.
“That’s brilliant, Mr. Miller Lite,” Bernie said to Killer Mike with a wrinkled smile. “I should’ve hired you as my manager.”
Bernie says that the tracks on his new rap album focuses heavily on the issues that currently affect the United States, such as President Donald Trump‘s disdain for anyone who isn’t a billionaire 1%er like him.
“We must crush the 1%,” Bernie added as he unveiled the Down With The 1% album cover, which retails for $49.99. “I just want everyone to know that I will be keeping all the proceeds from my new rap album so I can fight against Trump. The only way I can crush the 1% is by becoming one of them. Sort of like a gold-plated Trojan Horse.”
