OTTAWA, CANADA– As more Canadians are being forced to live in their cars and tents, Prime Minister Mark Carney announced that the Canadian government has finally identified that the root cause of the nation’s worsening housing crisis is that there’s not enough immigrants in the Great White North country.
During a recent press conference, Carney stood in front of hundreds of new Indian immigrants as he informed native-born Canadians that the lack of homes is caused by a critical shortage of people competing for them.
“I have great news, Canadians,” said Carney with a sarcastic smirk. “We’ve crunched the numbers, and it’s clear that we, um, need more people competing for the same 300 square feet of unaffordable bachelor pads. Think of it, more Indians, more Syrians, more Somalis, more Indians, more Hondurans, and more Indians, all clamoring for that one-bedroom basement apartment in Brampton. Did I mention that we’re also importing more Indians?”
The Liberal government has pledged to increase immigration quotas by 50% annually, citing “a dire shortage of renters who can’t afford $3,000/month for a studio.” Carney stated that by 2030, white Canadians will make up less than 1% of the total population.
“And that’s a good thing,” declared Carney in reference to the white replacement agenda.
The Liberal Party celebrated the plan to import millions more immigrants, calling it a bold move that will drive housing prices even higher.
