OTTAWA, CANADA– In what he has called one of the biggest blunders in Canada’s history, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney launched a blistering attack on the very voters who put him in office just months ago, berating the nation for its “appalling judgment” in electing him over Conservative rival Pierre Poilievre in the 2025 election.
“What were you thinking, you utter fools?” Mark Carney bellowed as his face turned beet red, shaking his fist at the press corps. “Do you know what you’ve done? You’ve handed the reins of this beautiful country to a man who makes Justin Trudeau look competent! I’m the guy who told you ‘elbows up’ would turn this country around, and you believed it. And you numbskulls cheered me on!”
Carney paused, shaking his head in disbelief. “You looked at our Liberal platform after almost ten years of Justin Trudeau and you said, ‘Yes, more of that, please, but faster!’”
Elected just months ago on a wave of what was termed “competent progressivism,” Prime Minister Mark Carney’s government has already outpaced the previous Trudeau administration in several key areas of national decline.
“You Canadians are like a bunch of lemmings jumping off a cliff because some smug, Oxford-educated WEF banker told you to. Newsflash: I’ve got a PhD in economics, but apparently, that PhD is in ruining economies! You’ve got a prime minister who thinks diversity quotas are more important than food on the table. Who thinks carbon credits are more valuable than Canadian oil! Duh, this guy here, that’s who.”
The Prime Minister concluded his remarks by placing the blame for the country’s impending doom squarely on the shoulders of the voters who elected him. The Conservative Party immediately released a statement saying, “We told you so.”
