CALIFORNIA– An impressive approval rating for Gavin Newsom was released this week that shows him with a one hundred percent favorability among Delta Smelt fish, causing the proud governor to boast about his latest surge in popularity on all of his social media accounts.
As the wildfires continue to destroy California thanks to the ineptitude of its Democrat leaders, Newsom took time out of his busy schedule to prove to Elon Musk and Donald Trump that he is actually very popular in his home state.
“Wow, look at these latest approval rating numbers,” wrote Gavin Newsom on Twitter X with an added smiley face emoji. “Contrary to President-Elect Trump and Elon Musk saying that I’m doing a terrible job and need to resign, my approval rating among California’s Delta Smelt fish community is at an all-time high. I guess it really was a great idea for me to sacrifice the lives of California residents to save a few fish.”
Newsom also polled at a very high favorability among looters, rioters, and illegal aliens, but for some reason fell short with legal citizens and people who lost their homes due to the wildfires.
Feeling confident in the job he has been doing thanks to the high support of the Delta Smelt fish community, Newsom vowed not to change a thing and promised to divert even more water away from Californians to the much-needed fish.
