SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA– As the California wildfires continue to burn out of control due to incompetent Democrat leadership, Governor Gavin Newsom held an emergency meeting with his top Democrat officials to try and figure out how they can blame President-Elect Donald Trump for the disaster.
After countless angry people around the country began blaming Newsom and other Democrat leaders for their complete failure at doing their jobs, the worried governor quickly called the meeting to discuss if there were any way possible to put the culpability of the California wildfires on Trump.
“We have a serious problem on our hands,” said Gavin Newsom in a panic as the soulless politicians all nodded their heads in agreement. “And no, I’m not talking about the fires destroying California and citizen’s homes, I’m talking about us Democrats getting blamed for this mess. Especially me. It’s one thing if you guys have to go down, but I’m not going down with you.
“I called this emergency meeting to try and put our heads together to get ahead of this California wildfires story becoming too big that we can’t get out from under it. Before too many people start realizing that this is all our fault, we have to figure out some way to blame this mess on Trump.”
Newsom and a few of his cohorts mulled around for a while before finally settling on a way to blame it all on Trump.
“We could just say that Trump caused the fires because he’s orange just like the fire,” said Newsom gleefully, signaling for the news media to run with the story. “Our Democrat voters are so stupid they’ll believe that one.”
