TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA– After receiving flack from numerous people accusing him of copying Donald Trump’s style, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has denied the rumors that he’s mimicking the president as a way to become more popular in a bid for the presidency, according to a speech during his recent “Make America Greatest Again” rally.
“That is totally fake news, and just a huge witch-hunt,” said DeSantis to a crowd of people in reference to the controversy. “In fact, it’s President Trump who’s been copying my bigly style, such as talking with my hands, yelling at reporters, having blonde hair, and spending time with my beautiful wife Melania and genius son Barron.”
While running his hands through his natural blonde hair, DeSantis unveiled his new campaign slogan called “Make America Greatest Again” and promised once he’s president he’ll build a big, beautiful wall along the western border and that the Philippines will be paying for it.
“The Philippines are sending us their worst,” said DeSantis as the crowd chanted to lock them up. “That’s why my new campaign slogan is Make America Greatest Again. Why settle for just making America great when we can make it the greatest?”
In an effort to raise money for his 2024 presidential campaign, for a limited time DeSantis has unveiled a new line of white wading boots that he promises he has personally stuck his feet into. Each pair of boots costs $69.95 and comes with a signed photo and certificate of authenticity.
