WASHINGTON– An intense closed-door testimony this morning became even more disjointed after Democrat committee members came back from their sixth lunch break and realized that they had locked the door key inside the Capitol Hill hearing room.
None of the House Democrats would accept responsibility for the absentminded error, with Committee members arguing and screaming at one another, delaying the testimony of a Pentagon whistleblower witness once again.
This is the second time in two days that the highly secretive impeachment hearings against President Donald Trump have been delayed.
On Wednesday, Republican House members of Congress caused a massive chaotic situation when Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) and 30 of his Republican colleagues stormed the closed-door hearings during their eleventh coffee break within three hours.
Witnesses say they saw House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff arguing about who would have to be the one to crawl through the air ventilation system to get back inside of the locked secure facility to let in the rest of the Democrats.
A large group of lawmakers gathered outside the locked hearing room, laughing and taking pictures with their cellphones as poor Nancy Pelosi crawled into a vent in the ceiling after losing a hand game of rock-paper-scissors to Schiff.
After finally slipping into the locked building and pulling back down her business suit skirt, Pelosi realized that she had entered into the incorrect room and was now also locked inside.
According to CNN news reporters, a reluctant Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer was forced to call a local Ukrainian locksmith to open the locked door and let everybody back inside.
Democrats promised that they had no prior ties to the locksmith from Ukraine and merely hired him because former Vice President Joe Biden said that he works cheap.
The Democrats also went on record to say that they are getting rid of all Capitol Hill door keys and will now be pretending that they are locking doors by making a clicking sound with their mouth
Even though the White House did not respond to a request for comment regarding the Ukrainian locksmith, Trump did go on Twitter to post security footage from outside the Capitol Building hearing room showing that Democrats were actually pushing on an unlocked door the entire time instead of pulling on it.
