TEL AVIV, ISRAEL– At a meeting inside of the holocaust museum Yad Vashem on Rabin Square, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told a group of investors that he wants to commemorate the atrocities of the holocaust by building a holocaust museum to commemorate the current holocaust museum.
“What better way to commemorate the tragedy of the holocaust,” Netanyahu said as he stared down the room full of bearded men, “than with another museum inside of a museum.”
The investors eyes lit up as Netanyahu continued. “We’ll be able to charge visitors at the door of the first museum and once they enter inside they’ll be charged again to actually get into the real museum. It’s a shame we have to do this, but it’s the least we can do to make up for what happened to us seventy-six years ago.”
“We have the full support of the United States,” Netanyahu stated, pausing after every word. “President Obama has given us an additional 90 billion dollars this year for this museum and he has also issued a special clause in our yearly reparations that says that borrowing money for holocaust sites doesn’t need to be paid back.”
When asked by one of the investors how much the holocaust museum would cost to build, Netanyahu cleared his throat and explained. “The mini museum will cost a staggering $50,000 to build, unfortunately, which means we’ll have to funnel the other $89,999,950,000 back into Israel’s nuclear weapons program.”
