LONDON, UK — Praising the swift and decisive action of their officers, the Metropolitan Police announced that they have posthumously arrested a local 46-year-old stabbing victim on charges of “aggravated insensitivity and lack of cultural accommodation” toward the immigrant man who was actively murdering him.
According to police reports, a white British citizen from London was walking home from his job when he was confronted by an Indian assailant wielding a 14-inch machete. However, rather than accommodating the attack with quiet compliance, the victim reportedly engaged in a series of highly defensive microaggressions that left his immigrant attacker feeling deeply alienated and judged.
“We take allegations of cultural disrespect very seriously,” said Superintendent Karen Jenkins. “The deceased’s racist refusal to acknowledge his mostly peaceful attacker’s historical grievances clearly escalated the situation. We must remind the public that experiencing a fatal stabbing is no excuse for bigotry.”
The attacker, a recently arrived undocumented migrant, was found by paramedics at the scene hyperventilating from the emotional trauma of the encounter. He was immediately comforted by local outreach workers, provided a hot beverage, and issued a £5,000 trauma-compensation voucher before being gently escorted to an exclusive temporary housing facility.
At press time, the Metropolitan Police had reportedly deployed 400 counter-terrorism officers to investigate the victim’s grieving mother after she posted a mildly critical Facebook status about her son’s murder without using the proper trigger warnings.
