U.S.– In a groundbreaking primetime special last night, CNN anchor Jake Tapper posed a serious question to his audience of five people that he declared “a nation is afraid to ask” following another tragic mass shooting in an all-black neighborhood, wondering why there weren’t any White people there to stop the incident from happening.
The two-hour CNN special explored what Jake Tapper described as a “deeply concerning lack of Caucasian presence during a critical moment of black need.”
“Day after day, we see the tragic headlines of violence coming out of Chicago,” said Tapper, trying to sound as believable as possible. “But tonight, we’re not looking at who are the ones who perpetrated the crimes once again, but this time we’re asking who wasn’t there and who could’ve stopped it. Where were all the White people that could have prevented those poor youths from massacring each other? Every White person in America has blood on their hands from all of those black on black shootings.”
One of the experts on Tapper’s CNN program, a liberal White professor with a PhD. in Performative Empathy Studies, argued that the black on black crime incident highlighted a “catastrophic failure of the White savior industrial complex to deploy assets to frontline black communities.”
Tapper then cut live to interview a local female black resident to ask her why there weren’t any White people there to prevent the shootings from happening, with the black woman immediately correcting Tapper’s ignorance by saying the problems in her neighborhood were due to black on black crime, not nonexistent White people.
After quickly cutting off the woman before she revealed too much truthful information, Tapper then segued into the next hour of his program where he posed the question of whether racist, White southern policies of the 1920s set the stage for last night’s violence.
