WASHINGTON– In a move that has ignited a fresh firestorm of liberal outrage, President Donald Trump announced August “National Sydney Sweeney American Eagle Jeans Ad Appreciation Month,” adding to the already immense outrage coming from leftists for having an attractive white woman as the model.
Speaking from the White House, President Trump touted the decision to give the controversial clothing ad an entire month as a “tremendous victory for beauty and denim” and for “angering the Democrats even further.”
“I’d like to acknowledge the incredible success of the Sydney Sweeney American Eagle ad at angering the left,” proclaimed Trump while standing in front of a large poster of the Sydney Sweeney ad. “That’s why, today, I am hereby declaring August as ‘National Sydney Sweeney American Eagle Jeans Ad Appreciation Month’ in celebration of yet another victory over the woke mob, and also for Sydney’s fantastic curves. I know I’m not supposed to say that, I might get into trouble. But who cares, right?”
As expected, the liberal backlash was immediate and apocalyptic, as a few people took to Twitter X to vow to never start buying American Eagle clothing ever again. “I’d boycott those racist, Nazi clothes if I wasn’t already not buying them before this ad ever came out,” wrote one woman on X.
American Eagle doubled down on their campaign by not apologizing, promising to push the envelope even further by using a real bald eagle as their next clothing model.
