WASHINGTON– After President Donald Trump said he was keeping tariffs on Israel, regretful Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu started thinking that maybe it was a big mistake to be the first world leader within hours to congratulate Joe Biden back in 2020 for supposedly winning the rigged US presidential election before it was official.
During their meeting inside of the Oval Office, Netanyahu’s face crumbled after Trump told a news reporter that he was keeping the tariffs on Israel being that the US pays them billions of dollars a year. Israel’s leader sunk down into his chair even further after trump turned to him and sarcastically told Bibi congratulations.
“I wonder if Trump’s still mad I turned on him so fast in 2020,” thought Netanyahu to himself as Trump gave him the side eye. “Hmm, maybe it wasn’t such a good idea to stab Trump in the back so fast. I was disloyal to Trump because I never dreamed this guy would ever be back in the White House. I know Trump likes to hold grudges against people for being disloyal to him, but I never thought I’d be sitting in this seat next to him almost five years later.”
While sitting in the hot seat in the Oval Office, Netanyahu thought back to the controversial 2020 US election when Trump had accused him of being disloyal by claiming Biden had won the election while the elector’s voters were still in court, giving validity to the election results as it was still being contested and investigated.
Netanyahu really started getting the feeling that perhaps Trump was still mad at him after seeing his picture on a dartboard on a wall of the Oval Office.
