WASHINGTON– President Joe Biden held a press conference to reassure worried California citizens that help is on the way, telling them that they will only have to wait six more days until Donald Trump’s gets sworn in to get that help.
Standing beside Governor Gavin Newsom, Biden did his best to ease the minds of Californians who lost everything and also to the people who are set to lose their homes once the fires spread farther.
“Don’t worry, folks, help is on the way,” said Biden reassuringly after Newsom went outside to cook a hot dog in the fire. “As your president, it is my job to make sure Americans are safe. That’s why, I’m sending assistance to California in six days, once that other guy Ronald Krump, or whatever the hell his name is, gets sworn in as president. You’re welcome.”
Leftwing news media outlets praised Biden’s quick response to the wildfire tragedy, but condemned Trump for waiting six more days to send help out to California.
Governor Newsom also agreed to help out with the horrific wildfires by just staying out of the way and doing nothing.
