CANBERRA, AUSTRALIA– Following through with his threat to censor all memes and jokes in Australia, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has issued a serious arrest warrant for one of the world’s most famous meme masters of all time, Pepe the Frog.
After threatening Australian citizens to stop posting mean memes about him that hurt his feelings, PM Albanese went on the offensive and told all authorities as well as the military to be on the lookout for Pepe the Frog and to bring him in dead or alive if found.
“Posting memes online is not only a threat to democracy, but a danger to the world,” said Prime Minister Albanese with a straight face as images of the hardened criminal Pepe flashed on a screen behind him. “People have been making fun of me online by posting memes, including one where this Pepe the Frog punched me. Physically attacking an Australian Prime Minister is a serious offense that can land the attacker in prison for life.”
PM Albanese then ordered his Australian police gestapo to go door-to-door breaking down citizen’s homes in an effort to see if anyone was hiding Pepe somewhere inside of their house.
“Anyone caught harboring the dangerous fugitive Pepe the Frog will face life in prison,” said PM Albanese heatedly. “As soon as we capture Pepe he will stand trial in one of our infamous kangaroo courts and will undoubtedly be made an example of. Mr. Elon Musk has let this criminal frog run rampant on his social media platform Twitter X and he must be stopped before anyone else makes fun of me.”
At publishing time, it was reported that Australian authorities had finally arrested Pepe the Frog, but it had turned out that it was only Kermit the Frog. PM Albanese had Kermit executed anyway since Kermit has also been involved in numerous memes that have offended the Australian government.
