WASHINGTON– The walls are closing in on Donald Trump after the Department of Justice recently released a highly incriminating tape which allegedly has the insensitive former president telling a blind man inside the Oval Office that he’ll see him later knowing full well that the disabled person could not see.
Prosecutor Jack Smith said the tape shows Trump’s blatant disregard for the disabilities of Americans and cited an 1812 statute that requires the president of the United States to make sure someone’s not blind before telling them “see you later.”
“This is the smoking gun that will finally take down Donald Trump,” said MSNBC host Rachel Maddow with glee in her eyes over the recently released Trump tape. “I knew it was only a matter of time before Trump would face justice for committing a legitimate crime such as being totally rude and not nice to a visually-challenged person who also cannot see.”
Even though the crime of telling a blind person that you’ll see them later is one of the most horrific crimes imaginable, some Republicans came to Trump’s defense and pointed out the fact that the blind man identifies as a person with sight.
Trump was later acquitted of all charges after audio experts reexamined the Trump tape and determined that the president actually said “I’ll tee you later” in reference to a golf game he had planned later with the blind man who boasts an impressive golf handicap.
