ROME, ITALY-– World-class physicians from the Pazzo Clinic in Rome recently released some startling research, saying that History tends to repeat itself quite often and possibly suffers from a severe case of narcissism.
At a symposium of the sciences held some time in the past, 49 year old Dr. Largio Gonadsi gave a brief oral history of History as well as a dissertation of History’s past events and perspectives and how it annoyed people previously and will possibly annoy people at a later date.
“After studying History, particularly how it relates to humans,” Dr. Gonadsi said by way of translator in a peculiar sense of déjà vu, “we have come to the ultimate conclusion that the reason why History tends to recur is because History suffered from an extreme case of narcissistic personality disorder and if my calculations are correct, History will once again suffer from this same disorder later on, thus repeating the cycle.”
When asked by reporters if History will once again annoy people like it did in the past, Dr. Gonadsi gave a brief oral history of History as well as a dissertation of History’s past events and perspectives and how it annoyed people previously and will possibly annoy people at a later date.
Update: In yet another striking similarity, one hour after Dr. Gonadsi gave his past History speech at the symposium, Dr. Gonadsi gave his past History speech at the symposium one hour after Dr. Gonadsi gave his past History speech at the symposium.
