ATLANTA, GEORGIA– CNN aired a groundbreaking interview this morning regarding an incident where President Donald Trump snapped at a reporter mid-flight, calling her a “piggy” during a tense exchange aboard Air Force One. The female reporter was later identified as none other than Miss Piggy from The Muppets, with the network calling the president’s comment an example of “Speciesism.”
CNN had the exclusive opportunity to sit down with Miss Piggy herself, who recounted the experience in vivid detail as the host Erin Burnett called on Trump to apologize for reducing Miss Piggy to her porcine heritage.
“Miss Piggy, can you tell us in full detail about President Trump’s abhorrent speciesism comments and how it made you feel?” Erin Burnett asked while eating Pork Rinds. “Give us an insight into how you felt after President Trump lashed out at you by saying he was going to cut you up and fry you like bacon.”
A perplexed Miss Piggy shook her head, saying, “Uh, no, Erin, that’s not what happened. I wasn’t actually offended by President Trump’s ‘piggy’ comment because as you can see I am clearly a pig.”
While eating a pork chop live on air, Erin Burnett leaned into the camera and demanded that Miss Piggy admit that she was offended by Trump’s comment.
“So, Miss Piggy, what you’re basically saying, is that President Donald Trump is a racist transphobe who tried to have you slaughtered by his Gestapo ICE agents, is that right? Just admit it. Stop being pig-headed, you fat pig.”
In response to the criticism, the White House released a statement claiming the President was simply “paying homage to Miss Piggy’s Muppet heritage, and that the only female who he truly still believes is a fat pig is Rosie O’Donnell.”
