CORE WORLDS– After blowing up the planet Alderaan, Emperor Palpatine took to X to say that the attack was a success and to also relay the message to the Rebel Alliance that it was now time for peace.
Following several unsuccessful attempts to reason peacefully with the rebels and with no other alternatives, Emperor Palpatine gave the order for the Death Star to take out the planet and then later addressed the galaxy in an effort to end the destructive conflict and finally bring order to the galaxy.
“We have completed our very successful attack on Alderaan,” wrote Emperor Palpatine on his official X account. “NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE! Thank you for your attention to this matter.”
The Emperor went on to warn the Alliance to not retaliate against the Galactic Empire or they would be met with force far greater than the Death Star blowing up a planet.
The general consensus among the Empire was split, with some of the Emperor’s supporters praising the leader’s tough stance on the rebels with others claiming he went too far and it wasn’t what they had signed up for.
