SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA– Tired of the way his state was being destroyed, California Governor Gavin Newsom officially called for the governor of California to formally step down amidst numerous calls by citizens for the incompetent leader of The Golden State to resign.
During an urgent press conference from the governor’s mansion, Gov. Gavin Newsom said he was fed up with the way California was being run and that he was at his wits end due to the extreme level of incompetence and corruption by the state’s highly unpopular governor.
“I have four words for you, governor: Resign,” said Gov. Gavin Newsom while confused news reporters shook their heads. “It’s about time this incompetent governor of California do the right thing for once and just step down. Your entire time in office has been a complete failure, your extremely corrupt and selfish, you’ve destroyed the once great state of California with your far-left policies, and everyone, including me and my wife, hates you.”
Newsom said he has been urging citizens to flood the governor’s office with phone calls requesting that the man governing California resign, saying that perhaps if enough people complain then maybe one of California’s worst governors in history will be removed from office before it’s too late.
“I haven’t been able to call the governor myself yet because for some reason I keep getting so many calls to my own office,” said Newsom in bewilderment.
President Donald Trump weighed in on Newsom’s calls for the governor of California to step down and promised he would do everything in his power to help him get that accomplished.
