TORONTO, CANADA– According to a lengthy research study performed by the University of Toronto, one of Canada’s most popular exclamations “Eh” has been replaced with the Indian word “Saar.”
The five year research study confirmed that the massive influx of Indian immigrants flooding into Canada has caused a major demographic change, leading to the word “Eh” being overtaken by the word “Saar” as the most often used interjection in the Great White North Country.
“For decades, Canada was known around the world for its use of the popular word ‘Eh,'” said head researcher Pierre LaDouche. “But according to our latest study, the exclamation ‘Eh’ made popular by shows such as SCTV’s Great White North has finally been overtaken by the word ‘Saar,’ which is an extremely common word used by our quickly growing Indian population.”
The researcher went on to say that when an Indian immigrant in Canada says the word “Saar” it typically refers to the Indian trying to say the English word “Sir” or sometimes “Yes,” stating that some non-Indian people use the slang word in a derogatory fashion.
Newly elected Liberal Prime Minister Mark Carney praised the fact that the word “Eh” has been replaced by “Saar” and also promised under his leadership eventually all white Canadian citizens will be replaced with brown immigrants.
