AFRICA– A newly elected leader of an antelope herd has been facing criticism from its fellow antelopes for the controversial decision to start importing lions into their herd in order to bring as much diversity and inclusion as possible.
The antelope leader gave a speech on top of a grass plain to preach to all the other antelopes about its plan to bring in thousands of lions within the next few months to live among their herd.
“Fellow, antelopes, diversity is our strength,” said the antelope leader as one of the immigrant lions ate one of the other antelopes. “If we don’t bring in thousands of dangerous, unvetted lions into our herd then we will not survive. That’s why starting this week I will be increasing the number of lion immigrants until hopefully one day the lions will outnumber us.”
After labeling a few antelopes xenophobic for not agreeing to bring in more of their natural enemy, the antelope leader then said that importing more lions was the only way for their kind to be able to progress as a society.
At publishing time, it was reported that crime had gone up exponentially since so many lions were brought into the herd and the leader also had all the antelopes imprisoned who questioned the statistics.
