PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA– While millions of people were enjoying former President Donald Trump’s visit to a Philly McDonald’s, a visibly upset AOC posted on Twitter X that she “wasn’t having it” and urged her followers to join her in boycotting Burger King as a way to show her disapproval of the McDonald’s fast-food chain’s decision to highlight Trump.
With her hair pulled back in a bun, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) stood in front of the McDonald’s where Trump was working as a fry cook and held up a sign for the cameras that read “Boycott Burger King,” as thousands of people looked on in confusion at the New York Congresswoman shouting for people to stop eating at Burger King.
“Stop eating at Burger King and start eating at McDonald’s,” screamed AOC in an effort to punish McDonald’s. “Don’t fall for Trump trick of wearing an apron and making those delicious, golden, salty fries that perfectly matches his beautiful golden hair, I mean, he’s a nasty man. We have to show McDonald’s that we won’t support them any longer for having Trump here, so make sure you tell all your friends to start boycotting Burger King and start eating at McDonald’s.”
AOC told her followers to get the word out by posting the hashtag #BoycottBurgerKing on social media, saying, “Let’s show the world just how much smarterer us Democrats are than Republicans by getting #BoycottBurgerKing trending. Let’s go.”
In addition to boycotting Burger King to spite the McDonald’s fry cook Trump, AOC also plans on boycotting France for supplying McDonald’s with all the French fries.
