WASHINGTON– After receiving a lot of flack over her comment that RICO is not a crime, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) D-NY came to her own defense and proved all of her detractors wrong that she’s an idiot with no legal training by citing her many years of legal experience watching the hit show Law & Order.
While wearing a very large helmet on her head to protect her very large brain, AOC took her frustrations out on Twitter X and posted her legal credentials for the world to see, including watching five seasons of Law & Order, two seasons of Criminal Minds, and also a few episodes of Better Call Saul.
“Republicans accuse me of not having any experience or formal training,” wrote AOC with an attached photo of herself working in a bar with Law & Order playing on a TV in the background. “But I’ll have you know, I’m just as qualified as anyone who went to law school or spent years litigating cases. Here’s the proof with this pic of Law & Order on our big TV thing when I was working as a bartender just a little while ago.”
Even though the show Law & Order usually played on the TV while she was serving drinks, AOC did admit that she didn’t always get to watch every entire episode or even listen to the show at all due to having to concentrate so hard on all her bartending responsibilities.
“You guys don’t know how hard it is having to remember to pour the drink into the glass first before handing it to the customer,” wrote AOC with a sad emoji. “Republicans still haven’t proven whether President Biden has committed a high crime. What’s it matter anyway if someone was somewhere high or somewhere low when they were committing a crime? In fact, is it even a crime to be up high?”
