ATLANTA, GEORGIA– Striving to be more diverse and equitable, the Chairman of Chick-fil-A Dan Cathy proudly announced that starting this week the fast food chain will begin serving black chickens and plans to also add trans chickens later this year.
Cathy said that the chickens being served at Chick-fil-A are too white and the Atlanta-based company needs to diversify by killing more chickens of color to be eaten at their restaurants because many black people don’t want to eat white poultry and feel uncomfortable around white chickens due to their racist past.
“Not everyone feels comfortable eating the flesh of white birds,” said Cathy while drinking black coffee with no cream to show his support for the black community. “Studies show that black chickens better understand the needs and appetites of black people more than white chickens do.”
Chick-fil-A’s boss said the company also has plans to begin serving brown and Asian chickens, as well as selling roosters who identify as chickens for the chain’s growing number of trans customers.
“White chickens need to atone for their racist past by letting more black chickens get slaughtered to be eaten,” said Cathy in a plea for white chickens to fight racial injustice. “I’m sure all those black chickens will die happy knowing their lives were sacrificed in the struggle against racism.”
