KENYA, AFRICA– A Christmas family gathering became awkward very fast after a female gazelle brought home a lion to meet her parents for the first time, causing a lot of tension on what was supposed to be a fun, comfortable family gettogether.
The uncomfortable situation increased even more once the all-plant based meal was brought out to the dinner table, but the confident daughter insisted that her new big cat boyfriend was a vegan and that the quivering antelope relatives had nothing to worry about.
“Don’t worry, my boyfriend’s a great guy and promises he doesn’t murder and eat gazelles,” said the daughter as the lion stared at mom and dad while licking his lips. “He’s only nibbled on my neck a few times because he loves me, not because he’s trying to eat me.”
After engorging himself with a plate full of leaves, the lion told mama gazelle she was the best cook and then proceeded to give her a few kisses on the side of her face while salivating and trying to quiet down his growling stomach.
At publishing time, it was reported that the gazelle and lion had gotten married but then later divorced after the female antelope had discovered that the big cat surprisingly wasn’t really a vegan and he was only lying in an effort to try and eat her.
