MONTPELIER, VERMONT– Still holding out hope that Bernie Sanders will get the 2020 Democratic nomination, Sanders supporters say that they’re not giving up hope that the Vermont Senator may still pull out a surprise win to face Donald Trump in the 2020 Presidential Election.
In the year 2036, Bernie Bros believe that the now 95-year-old Sanders could still snag the Democratic nomination because no one really knows just how the voters will react on the Super Tuesday from 14 years ago and are unsure whether all the polls saying Joe Biden is the favorite to win are actually accurate.
“We don’t really know-know for sure whether Bernie’s gonna get the 2020 nomination or not,” said Bernie Bro Fogell McLovin as he stood outside of Bernie’s nursing home. “It’s really just too close to call right now, man. There’s still a lot of momentum around the nursing home where Bernie has a one in five shot at going more than two hours without a diaper change. Those are good odds.”
Many of Sanders supporters say it’s a very complex and fluid 2020 Presidential race, which seems to maybe-possibly-kind of favor Sanders and could give the still serving Vermont senator a chance at a comeback.
Now using his nursing home bathroom as his senator’s office, Sanders drooled into his lap and then mumbled something about trillionaires not paying their fair share due to the capitalist dragons living under his bed whenever he flies a helicopter out of his window to visit Gotham City.
McLovin added that he still has hope that the almost 100-year-old Bernie will get the 2020 Democratic nomination and then pay off his $500,000 in student loans for the lesbian dance degree he used to line his birdcage.
