U.S.– Victoria’s Secret has made history this week after announcing they’ve hired the world’s first chicken supermodel to be the new face of the fashion company in its quest to be the most inclusive and diverse lingerie retailer in history.
The new commitment campaign to be as inclusive and diverse as possible led Victoria’s Secret to introduce the beautiful chicken named Polly as one of its top supermodels, with the bird’s dominant white plumage adding a much-needed sexiness and functionality to the brand.
“We’ve transformed our company in our ongoing effort to develop products that champion and support all creatures,” said Hombre Estúpido, head creative director for Victoria’s Secret. “We listened to our customers and most people said we didn’t have enough chicken representation in our group of supermodels.”
In the last few years. Victoria’s Secret has taken a totally new direction by introducing a very eclectic group of individuals to represent their brand, including last year’s promotion of a Fuji apple to CEO.
“We’re trying desperately to reinvent our image by slowly doing away with all our beautiful, thin female supermodels,” said Estúpido. “We have plans to hire more models from all walks of life to further our stunning and brave plans to be as diverse as possible.”
Estúpido told reporters that some of the future models that they plan on having replace the rest of the current gorgeous female humans include a porcupine, a garage door, a mutilated corpse, a donut, and a housefly.
The introduction of the new chicken supermodel Polly hasn’t been without its problems though, with many people on Twitter already complaining that the fowl bird’s feathers are too white and racist and Victoria’s Secret needs to do a better job of hiring chickens of color.
