CHEYENNE, WYOMING– A mother from Wyoming has been making headlines this week after posting a photo on Instagram scolding her son for constantly leaving footprints inside of her extremely clean house.
Coal Bog, 32, grew tired of her 10 year old son Carbon coming into their home without cleaning off his feet, leaving his Carbon footprints all around the spotless home.
In an effort to let other parents out there know about the dangers of their own Carbon footprints, the committed mother uploaded the photo to Instagram to get the word out about just how dangerous these seemingly innocent acts are to the environment of a person’s home.
The cute Carbon footprint photo has already garnered over one million likes and thousands of comments from other home climate-concerned mothers who have the same issues with their own Carbon footprints, leaving many feeling fossilized by the endless cycle.
The title of the post was “Look at little Carbon’s footprints inside mom’s green house.” Coal says that she is trying her best to keep the white interior/green exterior home as clean as possible, trying to keep the total global warming of the home down to a minimum.
“I never dreamed that my photo would get so much attention,” mom Coal told a CNN News reporter with her husband Peat Bog by her side. “I love my son dearly, but I also love the eco-friendly environment of my home. Sometimes we have to sacrifice a little convenience for the bigger picture.”
Coal went on to say that her little Carbon isn’t the only guilty party when it comes to damaging the integrity of the ozone of her home. She says that her husband Peat is in denial and can be somewhat problematic in terms of in-home air pollution.
“Yeah, my husband Peat has a small gas problem.” Coal said reluctantly as her husband put his guilty head down in shame. “He doesn’t think I know it, but after he eats certain meals he releases lots of gas, which in turn fuels the problem by destroying the climate of our home. I try my best to help him reduce these emissions by cooking less gassy foods and eating less meat.”
In fairness, Coal admitted to CNN that she is also partially to blame for her home environment pollution and sometimes she contributes to the climate change of the atmosphere of her house. She promises she’s not just trying to blow smoke either.
“Yes, I’ll be the first to admit that I’m also guilty of pollution,” Coal added with a smirk. “Sometimes I get a little burned up when I see my husband and son not taking better care of the environment of our house. It gets me fuming like you wouldn’t believe.”
Due to the popularity of Coal’s Instagram post, a California mom recently uploaded a photo of her son Water and daughter Land’s cute but deadly footprints titled “Son and daughter disaster: Water footprint and Land footprint gone wild.”
