LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA– Who knew politicians could be so influential? At least when it comes to their hair anyway. Hairdos of United States politicians are now one of the most requested styles, surpassing celebrity styles in popularity.
Salons across the country are being inundated with customers asking for their favorite politician’s tresses. Now that politics has become the people’s choice for entertainment, politicians have become celebrities in their own right.
According to Byron Byron, hairstylist to the stars and owner of Cabello Loco salon, more and more of his clients are now trying to look and act like politicians.
“I can’t keep up with demand, girl,” Byron said to The Fabulous Fashionista magazine. “I had to hire and train more stylists just to be able to keep up with this latest trend. Even many celebrities have been bitten by the political hair bug.”
Byron says that “The Trump” and “The Clinton” are the two most requested hairstyles, with “The Trump” barely edging out “The Clinton” by the Salon College.
“Now we got a buncha little Trumps and Clintons out on the streets,” Byron said with a smile as he prepped a 49 year old black woman’s head for “The Trump”. “But it’s not just American politicians, uh-uh. Just last week I turned twenty-two men and women into fabulous-looking Vladimir Putins.”
Due to the recent popularity of the political hairstyles, many retailers will start carrying clothes, makeup, and other beauty products for those looking to complete the look of their favorite politician.
Cabello Loco is extending their President’s Day sale until next week’s Mardi Gras, when Byron says many of his clients will sober up to their looks once they get drunk.
