WASHINGTON– In an effort to promote peace and also a smooth transition, President-elect Donald Trump and China have decided to show their support for one another by combining the Chinese New Year with the Presidential Inauguration, which are two of the biggest events this January for the United States and China.
According to a tweet put out by Trump, Chinese president Xi Jinping called him and suggested that the two countries find some way to work out their differences. Jinping asked if there was any way he could entice Americans into celebrating the Chinese New Year festival. Trump claims that he came up with the idea to combine the Presidential Inauguration with the start of the Chinese New year.
“This’ll be the greatest deal ever made,” Trump tweeted early Sunday morning as he glanced over a Chinese food menu. “What better way to start off the new regime than with egg rolls and sushi. Yum.”
The combination of the two events will be called the ‘Chinese Donald Trump Presidential Inauguration New Year Day 2017.’ No word on whether President Obama will be writing an executive order to try and stop the joyous celebration or whether D-list Hollywood celebrities will be boycotting the event.

During the Chinese New Year festival, Chinese families get together for dinner and thoroughly cleanse their homes in an effort to sweep away any ill-fortune. Many political pundits are applauding this idea and state that it makes sense to combine a celebration with the fumigation of the White House’s current pest problem.
Chinese exterminators are being hired to spray the White House on January 20th in an effort to cleanse the rooms of its current flea infestation.
Although many people are ecstatic that China and the United States are finally coming together and showing a possible positive relationship for the future, many unnamed experts claim that this whole event is just a ploy by China to use fleas made in China to take jobs away from workers who make fleas in America.

“It’s all about quality, not quantity,” said Jigger Lice, an exterminator out of Maryland. “Even though Chinese-made fleas are cheaper, they end up costing Americans more money in the long run due to their cheap materials and poor craftsmanship.”
Many Chinese-made fleas were recalled back in 2013 due to dangerous toxins that gave thousands of dogs and cats rectal cancer.
