FUNSTOWN, NEW YORK– A circus clown who had walked through a residential neighborhood in full clown makeup while honking his big red nose was shot and killed by police, according to the official police report.
Twenty police officers shot 52 year old Bongo the clown during a confrontation where Bongo repeatedly ignored officer’s commands to quit honking his nose.
“Officers did what they were trained to do,” said 58 year old Fred Flintstone, Funstown’s police captain. “The suspect was initially stopped by police for suspicious activity. Because of the clown’s makeup and costume, police were unable to identify the suspect and asked him for his identification. That’s when the clown proceeded to repeatedly honk his nose horn and laugh in the officer’s faces.”
This isn’t the first confrontation between clowns and Funstown police. Back in 2014, a small clown car was stopped by police after they noticed 30 clowns stuffed into the tiny vehicle. And this also isn’t the first time Bongo the clown had a run-in with the law. Last year Bongo was arrested for throwing confetti at officers after pulling a long string out of his mouth.
In the official police report, Bongo the clown was asked numerous times to refrain from honking his nose because one of the officers kept confusing the clown’s nose with several children who were passing by on their bicycles while honking their bike horns.
Witnesses say they saw the police officers duck behind their squad cars with their weapons drawn, shouting at the clown to stop honking his nose.
Giggles, a 31 year old party clown, was walking down the street with big red shoes when the clown incident occurred and said that the clown wasn’t doing anything wrong and that this is just another case of police brutality against clowns.
“When is this gonna stop?” Giggles asked reporters as he squirted the camera with a water flower. “Us clowns have rights too, ya know. Clown profiling has become a huge problem in this city and once again the cops get away with it. I saw it with my own eyes, Bongo wasn’t even honking his nose. Officers kept telling him to put his hands down and that’s just what he did.”

Giggles should’ve used a video camera and posted it to YouTube, maybe people would’be rioted for Bongo.
Better call CNN or MSNBC so they can instigate the country’s clowns to start rioting.
