LONDON, UK — Prime Minister Keir Starmer issued an emergency national warning Saturday after thousands of attendees at the “Unite The Kingdom” march were seen carrying British flags in what Starmer described as one of the most catastrophic threats to British values in modern history.
Standing in front of 10 Downing Street surrounded by armed police officers, Starmer urged citizens to remain calm while authorities worked to contain what he called an escalating outbreak of unauthorized patriotism where thousands of individuals waved Union Jack and St. George’s Cross flags, sang traditional anthems, and committed the ultimate act of modern extremism by peacefully protesting.
“Let me be absolutely clear,” Starmer said during the televised address. “What we are witnessing today is a highly coordinated, terrifying display of people enthusiastically liking the country they live in. There is simply no place in our society for British citizens recklessly walking around London draped in British flags while appearing to enjoy being British.”
The Home Office has reportedly raised the national threat level to “Critical” after intelligence analysts discovered that several marchers were carrying thermos flasks of English breakfast tea without an administrative permit.
At press time, Starmer had reportedly authorized the deployment of additional officers after intelligence agencies confirmed that several “Unite The Kingdom” protesters were planning to escalate tensions further by drinking tea and discussing football in public among other far-right activities.
