WASHINGTON— Calling it the most chilling and undeniable piece of evidence discovered to date, top Democrat lawmakers convened an emergency press conference Wednesday morning to announce that playing President Trump’s 2026 State of the Union address backwards reveals a series of highly classified, covert Russian messages.
Standing behind an old cassette player on a table, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) insisted that what most Americans hear as garbled syllables and the faint hum of stage lights is actually clearly conversational Russian.
“For years, we have warned the American people that Donald Trump is a compromised Russian asset,” Schiff stated, pressing the ‘play’ button on the vintage tape deck. “And last night, he broadcast his allegiance on national television to the Kremlin and his boss Vladimir Putin.”
Schiff went on to say that they made the discovery by using a highly scientific method of playing the speech backwards on an old cassette player found in Chuck Schumer’s basement.
“There’s no denying anymore that President Trump works for Moscow,” Schumer declared as the tape played a loud, warbling womp-womp-swoosh sound, followed by the reverse-audio of Trump inhaling. “Did you hear that? When the President said ‘middle-class tax cuts’ the reversed audio produces a distinct, guttural scraping noise that’s translated to, ‘Vladimir, I have left the nuclear launch codes under the mat, please feed the cat.'”
At press time, Republicans countered the Democrat’s move by playing Biden’s old speeches backwards and discovered they sounded exactly the same forwards.
