LAS VEGAS, NEVADA– Police in Las Vegas are searching for an apparently bipolar Tesla vandal who left an apology note after burning down a parked Cybertruck, writing that they felt remorse moments following the destruction of the vehicle.
A rash of the Elon Musk-owned Tesla brand vehicles have been getting vandalized recently, but this was the first incident where one of the suspects had left a vacillating note admitting to the crime, apologizing for it, relishing in it, saying they were sorry, justifying it, and then apologizing once again.
The investigation team were left slightly amused by the note taped to the remains of the Tesla vehicle, leading experts to call a few of their fellow officers over to share in the lighthearted moment as they read the note out loud.
“Hi, sorry for destroying your Tesla,” the vandal’s note started off. “No, I hate you, I’m glad I did it. Please forgive me. Go to hell, you Nazi shit. I feel so bad. Piss off. Have a nice day!!”
Police later received a phone call from the supposed bipolar Tesla arsonist who claimed he was truly sorry and wanted to turn himself in, only moments later to call back and angrily tell them he was never going to turn himself in because he didn’t regret what he had done.
