OTTAWA- CANADA– After a back and forth fierce negotiation with incoming President Donald Trump, Justin Trudeau took to his social media account to brag to the world that he had one-upped Trump by getting Canada to become the 50th and a half state of the United States rather than the 51st.
The Canadian prime minister reiterated to Trump that Canada would never become the 51st state before finally settling on The Great White North country being downgraded by a half of a state.
“Great news, Canada,” wrote Trudeau on his Twitter X account after his meeting with Trump. “After telling President Trump that Canada will never be the 51st state, I am proud to announce that Canada will now become the 50th and a half state of the United States. I put Trump in his place and showed him who’s the real boss.”
Canadian citizens were in both shock and awe at how Trudeau could just blatantly make Canada appear even worse than it had already looked to the world before the latest round of negotiations between the two countries.
Trudeau also bragged that after the negotiation with Trump he had also been downgraded from Canada’s governor to Canada’s mayor.
