OTTAWA, CANADA– As a way to stop the countless Christian and Catholic churches across Canada from getting burned down, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau told the thousands of Canadian churches that to protect their buildings from violent arson attacks they should simply convert to Islamic mosques.
A giddy Trudeau gave a press conference in front of the charred ashes of the latest Christian church building to get burned down where he blamed the Christian preachers for the church burnings because they refused to convert to Islam.
“There’s a very simple solution to stopping these church fires,” said Trudeau while wearing a burqa. “In order to not upset the radical but mostly peaceful Muslim community I’m calling on all Christian and Catholic churches to immediately convert to mosques. There’s no place in Canada for Christians who disrespect our immigrant community by not conforming to their religion.”
The prime minister stopped short of outright banning Christianity in Canada, but said he won’t rule out making it illegal for people to worship Jesus Christ. “I’m also looking at possibly banning the Bible, especially after that time I picked one up and it burnt my hand,” added Trudeau.
To help expedite the transfer of Christian and Catholic churches to Islamic mosques, Trudeau stated he would put a 100% tax on any churches who refuse his reasonable request.
